Current Residential Home Sales Statistics for Metro Phoenix

August 2010 Residential Home Sales Statistics
In August, the total listings for sale increased again, but the sales have regained some stability. Short sales
and bank-owned sales still comprise over 70% of the total sales for the month. Since normal sales are on average priced higher
than REOs and short sales, this has a very negative effect on the overall average. The average days on the market continues to
decline, undoubtedly impacted as the bargain distressed properties are snapped up quickly.

Months' supply by area (previous month-August- in parenthesis):
East Valley 5.3 (5.54), Northwest 5.1 (5.01), Paradise Valley 10.6 (11.97), Luxury $1Million + 22.1 (22.1), Southwest 4.5 (4.72), Peoria &
Glendale 4.6 (5.14), Camelback Corridor 9.4 (4.48)(yes, this is correct- however, 4.48 is from July1), Cave Creek 6.9 (7.42),
Ahwatukee 5.1 (5.0), Scottsdale 8.4 (8.33), Apache Junction 5.3 (4.99), Fountain Hills 11.9 (11.9), Buckeye 4.6 (4.59)
